On live television, former Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh engaged in humorous wisecracks. As Former India spinner Harbhajan predicted that young pacer Arshdeep Singh would become a superstar over the next five years during an interview on Star Sports. Arshdeep, who had a successful IPL season prior to it, made his international debut for India last year. Harbhajan thus predicted that the left-arm pacer would succeed in the following five years. Nevertheless, Sehwag, a former Indian opener, severely teased him.

For me, Arshdeep, it goes like this: “Aaj ka Arshdeep aur agle 5 saalo mein, aur better hoga.” In the following five years, I believe the current Arshdeep will improve even more), “Harbhajan stated. While saying this Harbhajan supported Arshdeep after which Sehwag gave hilarious and teasing reply to this.

Sehwag replied, “Punjab k alawa bhi players hain (There are players beyond Punjab as well)” to Harbhajan. But Harbhajan responded well, splitting everyone’s sides—including former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan.
While this aggressive debate between the former cricketers, Harbhajan Singh responded with the following well-chosen phrase smartly and said “There are others as well apart from Punjab, but here we are talking about talent, and I can see that there only.” Harbhajan expressed his views regarding this as saying that he was making prediction on Arshdeep on the basis of his talent and capability.
Arshdeep has participated in 26 T20I matches for India and took 41 wickets. He has taken part in three ODIs, but without success. Moreover, he was selected for India’s team to compete in the T20 World Cup in Australia last year.
