India has defeated Sri lanka and has done a white wash in the last ODI series. The team looks balanced with this performance but still having certain changes regularly. Recently, the former Indian Cricketer Robin Uthappa has expressed his views on the insecurity of the Indian cricketers in the team. According to him, team India is failing in ICC Tournaments because of the unnecessary changes they make in the team so frequently and unnecessarily.

Such as they left Kuldeep Yadav for the second test match against Bangladesh after he took eight wickets in the first match and Ishan Kishan also got dropped just after hitting a double hundred in an ODI against Bangladesh. This does not convey’s a right message to the player and makes insecure.

Even getting dropped after such great performances, indicates that there is no assurance of a player in a team on the basis of performance. This concept of team India has proved to be wrong as they hav’nt won a World Cup since 2011 and failing in other big tournaments also, despite having such great players in the team. Dropping an inform player can break his rythm of the game and over-experimenting can lead to a disbalanced team sometimes.

Uthappa has expressed that this concept has proved to be unsuccessful for the team so far and developes a feeling of insecurity in players. Uthappa has been a part of the Indian cricket team in 2007 t20 World Cup and is  currently playing for Dubai Capitals in ILT20 in the UAE.
