Sri Lanka named 18-member squad for the tour of India

Men in Blue has regained their old mojo back under the leadership of Rohit Sharma as they recently won back to back Odi and T20I series against West Indies.

Sri Lankan selection committee  recently announced their 18 member squad against India for three match T20I series which will be led by Dasun Shanaka.

The likes of Avishka Fernando, Nuwan Thusara and Ramesh Mendis who last played against Australia will not be travelling to India due to injury concerns.

Wanindu Hasaranga who secured top amount in recently concluded IPL auction is back in the squad along with uncapped spinner Ashian Daniel who made into the squad “subjected to ministerial approval”.

Taking about Sri Lanka’s performance in T20 International series where they lost five match series against Australia by 4-1 will be looking to make a comeback in the upcoming India series.

Sri Lanka’s tour of India consist of three T20Is followed by two Test matches. Let’s have a look at Sri Lanka 18-member squad against India in detail.
