COVID-19 Impact: Shane Warne appeals fans to follow the governments guidelines

The legendary Australian cricketer Shane Warne, took to twitter to share his concern over the rising cases of coronavirus infection and urging people to adopt the government’s advice and stick together in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sharing a picture, he had received from someone that said “We have surpassed 300,000 coronavirus cases worldwide. Some perspective: the first 100,000 took 3 months, the second 100,000 took 12 days, the third 100,000 took 3 days”, he tweeted,Just got sent this !!!!! Wow, please, please, please can we all stick together and listen to the Govt and adhere to the advice.”

The leg-spinner also appreciated their Prime Minister for doing an impressive job in this tough and unsettling time and requested everyone to stay safe.

The novel coronavirus has claimed over 11,184 lives and infected about 266,073 people globally. The WHO has described its risk assessment as “very high” on a global level.

India itself has registered about 341 cases so far and 7 deaths according to the Indian Council of Medical Research.
