England cricket team will be touring Pakistan in 2022 for playing the Test series after a gap of 16 years. The news was confirmed by minister Fawad Chaudhary who is currently serving at the post of Federal minister of Pakistan.
He wrote on his official Twitter handle that I am delighted to inform all of you that the English team will visit Pakistan after a gap of 16 years which is a huge landmark for us as a cricketing nation.
Choudhary concluded by stating that it is a good sign for Pakistan cricket as we have come a long way from the devastating attack that took place on the Sri Lankan team when they last tour Pakistan in 2009.

However, he also wrote that the English side will be visiting will also tour Pakistan in October 2021 this year where they will be locking horns against the home side for a two-match T20 International series scheduled on October 14th and 15th 2021.
The last time England tour Pakistan was in the year 2005 when both sides locked horns against each other for three-match Test series and five-match ODI series and eventually Pakistan emerged as a winner.
Mohammad Hafeez was the star performer for Pakistan with the willow and scored a match-winning 86* off only 52 deliveries.
