IPL 2021: CSK coach Stephen Fleming gives an update about the current health status of MS Dhoni’s Parents covid situation

It looks like Chennai-based franchise is returning to their old form by winning three matches out of four in the ongoing season of IPL 2021 to comfortably sit at the top of the table.

MS Dhoni who is often praised for the way he has led the yellow army over the years right from what they have started in 2008.

Recently a report surfaced in regards to Dhoni’s parents that they are tested positive with COVID-19 and admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi.

A question was asked to head coach Fleming in regards to how the management has reacted to Dhoni’s parent’s health to which he said that the team management is aware of Dhoni’s family situation, Fleming revealed that he had a chat with Dhoni and the situation is under control for now. The Chennai coach also added that the health of Dhoni’s parents will be monitored for the next few days.

Fleming has added that people are through a tough time in India. He concluded by stating that team management is all in provide adequate support to Dhoni and hoped his family recovers quickly.

It’s a tough time for everybody, especially in India at the moment. We are spending quite a lot of time talking about care in the wider group of friends and family. We have that responsibility to ensure MS [Dhoni] has the support that he needs. We hope his family recovers quickly,” said Fleming in the post-match press conference.

CSK will be next facing Kohli-led RCB side on 25th April 2021.
