IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals speedster Jofra Archer ruled out of the tournament

Rajasthan Royals who are facing tough time in the ongoing season of IPL 2021 as the all rounder Ben Stokes went back home after suffering a finger injury and to add more pain in their armoury their ace speedster  Jofra Archer who was supposed to join franchise in the second half of the cash rich league has been ruled out of the competition.

The speedster is still recovering from his injury under the survelliance of England cricket board(ECB)and Sussex medical team.

In the upcoming week, the Barbados-born will be upping his training regime and will be out with his Sussex teammates. If he can bowl without much of a pain, then he’s expected to return to cricket in the next fortnight.

According to latest report from England and Wales Cricket board official website but for Royals it is going to be a huge blow as losing a bowler like Archer in one of the biggest T20 league in the world where they are currently standing at the bottom in the points table.

Archer who received Most Valuable Player award in the last season of IPL for his all round show with both bat and all.

Royals will be competing next against Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday April 24th 2021 in Mumbai.
