There isn’t good news when it comes to world esports landscape; according to Asiana Times, the popular game Garena Free Fire will discontinue its upgraded edition of Free Fire max.

According to other rumours, Free Fire Max will currently be discontinued in the Brazilian region after March 21, 2023.

While the game version was initially banned on February 2022, “Free Fire Max” was released in the year 2021.

An official mail was sent by official developer, asking users to continue playing and downloading Free Fire and their Max Version will not continue further as the same will not receive any maintenance from 21st March 2023.

Due to the popularity of this version, professional players will be most affected by this game’s worst effects.

The closure of these two games and the subsequent permanent ban on Apex Legends mean that players will no longer be able to compete in future international tournaments.

The anecdote regarding the future of this game was popularly expressed by Poular Free Fire Youtuber, Aura Gaming had an interesting take on his channel where he stated, Free Fire operation-wise works differently in a different region so it will not impact India.

Due to the popularity of this version, professional players will be most affected by this game’s worst effects.

Developers have not yet officially confirmed whether they would stop operating in Brazil or if they will just operate in other parts of the world.

The game is already ban in India, so its future is already in doubt.

Many Professional Free Fire Esports players will loose their job and the companies who have severely relied on this game will be deeply impacted.
