Fantasy Cricket League Platform Dream 11 is the new sponsor for IPL 2020 after VIVO suspended their contract this year of IPL 2020, which is all set to start from 19th September to 10th November 2020 in UAE.

Dream 11 bagged the title sponsor for this year IPL for 222 crores and they surpassed the bidding done by other companies like Unacademy, who bid for Rs 210 crore, Tata Sons Rs 180 crore and Byju’s had bid for Rs 125 crore.

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly clarified that the suspension of the sponsorship contract with Vivo was not because of Financial crisis

I wouldn’t call it a financial crisis. It is just a little bit of a blip,” Ganguly said.

BCCI, it’s a very strong foundation – the game, the players, the administrators in the past have made this game so strong that BCCI is able to handle all these blips,” he said.

A week before all the timings when matches will be played was also confirmed. 

IPL 2020 will be played from September 19 and the final will be played on November 10, 2020. The 53-day tournament will witness 10-afternoon matches starting at 15:30 IST while the evening matches will start at 19:30 IST,”
