Big Breaking: National Sports Governance Bill for Monsoon Season all set be released on July 21st 2025
Get Ready for new National Sports Governance Bill which is all set to be delivered in Parliament on July 21st 2025 as part of Monsoon season.
The Bill will be based to ethical practices in Sports, in the Upcoming Monsoon season that will be presented by Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya stated on Friday.
The bill will also based on National Sports Federations(NSFs) which saw the legislation as an infrignment on their autonomy by the government where they could possibly suggest and ministry have also amended the bill based on the rules and regulations governed by International Olympic Committe.
“The Bill will be tabled in the Parliament during the Upcoming session. It’s ready” Mandaviya said.
The Government have already predicted that the bill would not focus on how to run day to day operations in Sports bodies and the purpose of this bill is to end National Sports Federations.
The Bill would highlight “Sports Regulatory Board” is one of the Key features of the bill.
The newly form body will have the power to grant, renew and suspend the affliation of IOA(Indian Olympic Association) and National Sports Federations.
Mandaviya also stressed on the need to have united Indian Olympic Association(IOA) and called it for a Internal crisis which is certainly not playing an important role in ensuring National Olympic Committee needs to be end so that robust policies should be build in order to apply for hosting rights for 2036 Olympics.

There have been constant chatter, about Pakistan Hockey teams could travel to India as Ministry of Sports Affairs,but for any bilateral engagements they wouldn’t given permission.
Just to inform you that Junior Hockey World Cup is all set to take place later this year as the event is suppose to take place in Chennai.
“:We don’t have any problems playing wit Pakistan in International Sporting events , be it cricket, hockey or any other sport. but when it comes to bilateral engagements the government position is known to all. We will grant them (Pakistan) visas for the Hockey tournaments. It’s up to their government to decide”
Dwelling into further developments, Youth Affairs department of the ministry is all set to organize 3 day “Youth Spiritual Summit” which would start from July 18th in Varanasi where 500 young delegates will deliberate and the strategies should be developed in such a way that most athletes should stay away with drug addiction.
The National Sport Policy should also focus on developing a robust ecosystem so that India comes at 1st place when it comes to athletes with most dope cases.
Hope strong policies should be developed so that Indian athletes should not fall into Doping trap.
