The much-anticipated Asian Games 2023 are set to take place in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China, from September 23 to October 8, 2023. Officially titled the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, this grand event was initially scheduled for the previous year. However, due to the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was wisely rescheduled to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
Among the various sports that India will compete in, fencing stands out as an area of considerable focus. The fencing squad is comprised of highly skilled athletes, each ready to demonstrate their prowess and dedication. In the women’s epee category, the team includes Taniksha Khatri, Ena Arora, Yashikeerat Kaur Hayer, and Jyothika Dutta.
