Devank Dalal: From Army Barracks to Kabaddi Stardom
Devank Dalal is a name people talk about a lot in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). His story shows how hard work and never giving up can lead to success. He started playing kabaddi when he was 17 years old. Now, he is one of the most famous players in the PKL. In PKL 11, he played so well that he became the fourth player in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League to get 300 or more points in a single season.
Devank Dalal was born in Rohtak, Haryana. He started playing kabaddi when he was only 17 years old. He learned how to play the game in the local fields of his village. When Devank played for the Rohtak team in the state level championship, he got his first kabaddi kit. This was a very important moment for him. In 2019, he played his first kabaddi tournament. Devank Dalal played in the PKL for the first time in Season 9. He was on the Jaipur Pink Panthers team. He was also on the Jaipur Pink Panthers team in PKL 10. But he did not get many chances to play. He could not show everyone how good he was.
Then, in PKL 11, the Jaipur Pink Panthers let Devank go. The Patna Pirates bought him for 20 lakhs in the auction. This was a big change in Devank’s career. As soon as he joined the Patna Pirates, Devank Dalal became the main raider for the team. He played very well and scored 301 raid points in the season. He helped the team reach the final.
Devank Dalal played the same role for Patna in PKL 11 that Pardeep Narwal played in Seasons 3, 4, and 5. Pardeep always played well for Patna. Now, Devank is also playing well. Because of this, people think that Devank could be the next Pardeep Narwal for Patna.
