  1. Making his team win the fourth IPL title

In 2021, MS Dhoni made CSK win its fourth title of the IPL. This made CSK the second most successful team in the IPL history. Only Mumbai Indians are ahead of them with five IPL titles. The final of IPL 2021 happened against the KKR. There is no doubt that KKR was is great form to make it to the final. But the target of 193 set by CSK was certainly too big for them. They were able to make only 165, and CSK became the champions once again.

  1. Getting a massive 22 in the last over of Axar Patel

 In 2016, MS Dhoni was playing for Pune because CSK was banned for a period of two years. It was the match against Punjab, when Pune had lost half of their team at a score of only 86, and the target was 173. Dhoni took the command to fight till the end. In the end, Pune needed 23 runs in the last over. But the experienced finisher had his plan to go over the top. Under pressure, Patel bowled the first ball wide. But in the next five balls, Dhoni scored, 6,0,4,6,6 to finish the game.

  1. Scoring an unbelievable 84* for (48) in IPL 2019

This inning is considered one of the best Dhoni knocks and even one of the greatest IPL knocks of all time. While chasing a decent target of 162, CSK lost four wickets, only at the score of 28. But Captain Cool stepped on the ground as the ‘Guardian Angel’ to play the most memorable knock of his T20 career. He went on to score 84 runs only on forty-eight balls and finished the match with a six in his signature style. He hit five sixes in that inning to make his team win.
