The Women’s Premier League is slated to kick off on Saturday, with Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans playing in the opening game at the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai. However, according to a recent update from BCCI, the match start timing of the first game has been postponed because of the tournament’s opening ceremony. The toss will now occur at 07.30 PM IST, and the game will start at 08.00 PM IST.
The opening game will now begin on Saturday at 8:00 PM IST due to a change in start time and the toss will occur at 07.30 PM IST, according to a BCCI press release.

Fans can enter the grounds at 4:00 PM IST and see the grand opening ceremony, which gets underway at 6:25 PM IST. Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon, two Bollywood celebrities, will add glamour to the tournament’s opening round. Moreover, singer-songwriter AP Dhillon will be playing some of his musical chart-toppers live on stage, which is sure to captivate the audience.
