India is assigned to Group D for the forthcoming Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023, which will take place in Bhuvneshwar, Orissa, at two stadiums with seating capacities of 16,000 and 20,000, respectively.
The main event will begin on January 13th, 2023, with host India beginning their adventure against Spain at 7 pm IST on January 13th, 2022.
On December 15, 2022, at 5 p.m. IST, they will meet England in their second game. On January 19, 2022, they will face Wales in the last league stage game.
The host nation, India, will face a challenging assignment at the 2023 Men’s Hockey World Cup because they were drawn into challenging groups with teams like Wales, England, and Spain. For India to advance to the next round would be a significant accomplishment.

The previous Men’s Hockey World Cup, which was also held in India, saw Belgium win the competition.
India’s Men’s and Women’s Hockey Teams have excelled in recent years, especially in the showpiece event of the Olympics 2020 where the Men’s team won the Bronze medal and the Women’s team placed fourth.
When it comes to hockey, both men’s and women’s, India has developed a lot of skills. It has also adapted to the speed of astro turf surfaces, and its quick tactics and technique have helped India win important sporting competitions.
