After a wait of 2 long months, UEFA Champions League 2022/23 season returns tonight for the Round of 16 fixtures. The previous round (Group stages) were concluded on November 22nd and following the FIFA World Cup 2022, UCL nights are back.
A lot of exciting fixtures are on the cards as the first leg of the Last 16 stages starts from tonight. The first last 16 is the most anticipated one ever since the draws took place. German Giants Bayern Munich and French outfit Paris Saint Germain will resume their rivalry tonight at Paris.
Their rivalry mainly started during the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League final, where the Bavarians came out on top to win their 6th UCL title against the Parisians. Both the teams met in the following season’s (2021/22) quarter-finals and PSG had somewhat settled the score.
