Two Great Coaches of IPL Playing Well in MLC 2023

Renowned for their lethal batting and bowling, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo have transitioned into coaching roles for their respective IPL teams following their retirements from the Indian Premier League (IPL). In 2023, Pollard took the batting coach role for the Mumbai Indians, while Bravo took up the position of bowling coach for the Chennai Super Kings during the IPL 2022 season. These two players are currently making waves in the MLC season of 2023.

Kieron Pollard

During his IPL career from 2010 to 2022, Kieron Pollard amassed an impressive tally of 3412 runs. Renowned for his explosive batting style, he has been instrumental in securing victories for the Mumbai Indians on numerous occasions. As an accomplished all-rounder, Pollard has also claimed 69 wickets throughout his IPL career. 

In the MLC season of 2023, Pollard made a significant impact by scoring a crucial 48 runs off 27 balls in the first match, and he also displayed his bowling power by taking two wickets in the second match of the season.

Dwayne Bravo

Beginning his IPL journey 2008, Dwayne Bravo has established himself as a formidable force. With a remarkable haul of 183 wickets, he was the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL history as of 2022, trailing behind Yuzvendra Chahal, who claimed the top spot. 

In the exhilarating MLC season of 2023, Bravo demonstrated his skills by capturing a wicket in the opening match and exhibiting his batting prowess in the second match, where he steered his team, Texas Super Kings, to victory with an impressive inning of 76 runs off 39 balls.

In addition to his achievements in the IPL, Dwayne Bravo, the seasoned West Indies player, has had an outstanding international career. With an impressive tally of 363 wickets, Bravo has displayed his bowling power on the international stage. Moreover, he has also made significant contributions with the bat, accumulating 6423 runs during his international career.
