Major League Cricket recognized as official T20 League

Major League Cricket (MLC) has achieved a major milestone, becoming the second Associate Franchise Tournament (after the UAE’s International League T20) to be awarded List A status by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

What Does List A Status Mean?

This prestigious status acknowledges MLC as a legitimate T20 league. Here’s what it means for the sport in the USA:

Fair Representation for Players: “It ensures the performances of some of the world’s best players alongside their peers are adequately reflected in their career statistics.” This means players’ achievements in the MLC will be accurately counted towards their overall T20 records.
