In the heart of India’s capital, Delhi, stands a towering stadium which is a venue where cricketing figures were built, and records were created – the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Originally known as Feroz Shah Kotla, the stadium has witnessed a complete transformation in the evolution of the game. It was established in 1883, and later renamed as Arun Jaitley stadium, which is managed by the politicised Delhi & Districts Cricket Association (DDCA). His consistent performance has made him one of the most successful overseas batsmen in IPL history. At the Arun Jaitley stadium, having played for Delhi Capitals (formerly Daredevils), as an opener, Warner has scored 1048 runs from just 36 innings he batted in. He has amassed 180 runs from this by hitting 30 sixes, making him gain the fifth position on this elite list.
4) Axar Patel – The incumbent skipper of the Delhi Capitals franchise, Axar Patel has been rising up the statistical charts in both batting and bowling departments. As an all-rounder of the Indian team, he has become an indispensable player in the squad over the recent years. Though primarily known for his bowling, he has emerged as a valuable contributor with the bat, particularly in lower-order situations. He has played 162 IPL matches and scored 1891 runs. His highest score in IPL is 66, achieved against Gujarat Titans. At the Arun Jaitley stadium, Axar has smashed 32 sixes from 26 match innings, scoring 570 runs on this ground.

Virender Sehwag had been a part of the Delhi Daredevils team (renamed to Capitals), with an IPL career spanning 104 matches and over 2700 runs scored by him. Sehwag was known for his aggressive opening style, often hitting boundaries and sixes. His highest score has been 122 runs off 58 balls, against CSK in 2014. As far as Delhi’s home venue is concerned, Virender Sehwag has smashed 38 sixes here from 33 match appearances, and a total of 933 runs. He was the captain of the Delhi Daredevils in the first two edition of Indian Premier League, and later in seasons four and five too.

He holds the record currently for smashing 58 sixes from 29 match innings played. His batting is quite head-on, taking bowlers on aggressively and freely. The swashbuckling middle-order batsman has an average of 37.6 on this ground, and a total of 978 runs so far in the history of all games played at the Kotla venue. The personal best score of 128 against SRH remains one of the finest knocks of his IPL career until now and was the second-youngest player at the time to score a century in the IPL. Pant created history by becoming the most expensive player ever, after being signed by LSG for INR 27 crores during the IPL 2025 mega-auction.
