Team India made these 5 big records with the win in IND vs BAN 3rd T20

On the occasion of Dussehra, Team India showcased fireworks of fours and sixes in the IND vs BAN 3rd T20 clash in Hyderabad on Saturday, 12 October 2024. Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav, especially, did the work of defeating Bangladesh. Samson scored a century, and Surya played a half-century. Riyan Parag and Hardik Pandya also opened their hands.

1. The record of scoring 10 or more runs in the maximum number of overs in the match has now been registered in the name of Team India. India scored more than 10 runs in 18 overs against Bangladesh. At the same time, Australia scored more than 10 runs in 17 out of 20 overs against Sri Lanka in the year 2016.

2. India has made a world record for scoring more than 200 runs in an innings in T20 cricket. Somerset has scored 200 runs in an innings 36 times, while Team India has achieved this feat for the 37th time in international cricket.

3. Team India made the second-highest score in T20 International cricket. Nepal had scored 314 runs against Mongolia in 2023 and now India scored 297 runs against Bangladesh. This is a world record for Team India as a Test-playing nation.

4. Suryakumar Yadav has made a record for India as captain. They have won T20 International matches twice by more than 100 runs, whereas under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill, India has won the match once each by a margin of 100 or more runs.

5. The wicketkeeper-batsman for India scored a century for the first time in T20 International cricket. Sanju Samson played an inning of 111 runs. Whereas, Ishan Kishan scored 89 runs as a wicketkeeper. Pant is in third place with 65 runs.
