The political situation is not stable in Bangladesh where interim government have been formed to run country after their ex prime minister Sheikh Hasina was made to flew country.

Fans are extremely disappointed as they were eagerly waiting to see Virat and Rohit representing India in flying colors.

Indian Cricket team and Bangladesh Cricket team boards have mutually agreed to play this series after 12 months.

The official statement came from BCCI ““The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have mutually agreed to defer the white-ball series, three ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals, between Bangladesh and India in August 2025 to September 2026.”

“This decision has been reached following discussions between the two Boards, taking into account the international cricketing commitments and scheduling convenience of both teams,” statement concluded by BCCI.

As Indian tour of Bangladesh have been postponed now, Bangladesh Cricket board are ready to host Pakistan for three match T20I series starting from July 20th.

The series between India and Bangladesh marked as return for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma,  as these two have already announced their retirement from two formats of the game which include- Test Cricket and T20I format.

As per further developments, India would be next playing ODI series against Australia for white ball series in October however they are also expected to get felicitated by Australian Cricket board as it might the last tour for both of them in Kangaroos soil.

Also going by reports there is still no clarity on Asia Cup, if these events are not going to happen would mean more domestic cricket for Indian Cricket team.

Talking about the current developments, India are playing 5 Match Series where the series is currently sealed at 1-1 in favor of both teams, and the next match all set to start from 10th July 2025.

If India manages to win that game with 2 more games to go, Men in Blue would have perfect psychological edge over opponents.

India and England are currently playing for Tendulkar- Anderson Trophy earlier known as Pataudi Trophy and the best performer in this series would get Pataudi Medal.

India have understood the conditions brilliantly along with game scenarios based on the way entire Indian Team has approached this series is phenomenal especially after the retirement of two India’s classy stalwarts which include- Rohit Sharma and Virat kohli.

The feat achieved by this young team should be celebrated brilliantly based on the way they showed resistance against Three Lions.

They have been exceptional in first test also, its just they lost the grip during important moments which costed them first test match by 5 wickets.

With no clarity on India vs Bangladesh series and Asia Cup, it’s imperative to see when Indian Cricket fans would get to witness Kohli and Sharma together in ODI Jersey.
