Nepal secured a thrilling win over UAE on Sunday to lead a significant spot in the World Cup qualifier matches. Nepal defeated UAE in a low-scoring match. With the top score of their batter Airee, who gathered crucial 79 runs, Nepal led to a successful run-chase of 181. 

Sandeep Lamichhane and Karan KC put on a brilliant bowling display to help restrict UAE to a minimal team score of 181. The bowlers showcased the best of their skills and played a key role in bowling out UAE at a low score. 

Lamichhane took 3 wickets for 23 runs, while KC took the same number of wickets for 36 runs in his one-ball-to-spare 9 overs. The two bowlers combined to bowl UAE out for 181 runs in 46.5 overs, helping Nepal immeasurably.

After restricting UAE at 181, Nepal went through a bad start as their opener Arjun Saud walked out at 1. Nepal was in trouble at 55/5 in the 18th over, but Airee and Lamichhane created a much-needed partnership for the seventh wicket to help their team reach the target with 40 balls to spare.

Airee, who was named the player of the match for his unbeaten match-winning knock of 79 runs, hit 7 fours and 2 sixes in his 85-ball knock. He also took one major wicket with the ball.

Lamichhane also made a valuable contribution with the bat, scoring 23 not out off 37 balls. He also picked up three wickets, including the key wicket of Aryansh Sharma.
