Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara Set to Play in a T20 Series in India

World greatest batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Caribbean king Brian Lara are ready to make a comeback in cricket. They will return to cricket to play for Road Safety World Series in India in 2020.

Apart from Sachin and Lara, other stalwarts like Virender Sehwag, Australian Brett Lee, Sri Lankan Tillakaratne Dilshan and South Africa’s Jonty Rhodes will also feature in the tournament.

The tournament shall be played between players of five cricket-playing countries. The World Series will be an annual Twenty20 tournament played between retired cricketers from five countries – Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and India between February 2 and February 2016 across India.

Last time when both Sachin and Lara featured in a match was during the Cricket All-stars series, an exhibition T20 series held in the USA in 2015.

Sachin Tendulkar is the leading run-scorer in International Cricket, whereas Lara holds the record for highest individual score in tests.
