Star Indian-opener and the Vice-captain of the Indian Cricket Team Rohit Sharma has been roped in as the brand ambassador of a Dubai based Cricket Academy named CricKingdom. In the midst of all the sporting activities wither getting postponed or cancelled, the Academy will be providing the online cricket coaching lessons.

The lessons will start only after the Coronavius gets over. Students and Coaches from any Academy can join the platform to take the online lessons. Mumbai born medium-pacer Dhawal Kulkarni will be one of the bowling mentors in the panel while Rohit Sharma will be the face of the academy.

The academy quoted Rohit as saying, “CricKingdom wants to combine traditional methods to create great sportspersons with modern scientific training methods. His vision is visionary. They want to make every aspect professional and structured.”

There would be at least 20 coaches associated with the Academy and most of them have an experience of working at a grass-root and junior-level. Some of them are Pradeep Ingale, Parag Madkaikar, Subhash Ranjane and Prathamesh Salunkhe. While the online lessons will be offered to the four notable categories- from 5-8 years, 8-13 years, 13 years and above and club and elite level cricketers.

“The vision is far-sighted and it seeks to make every aspect professional and structured,” said Rohit, who is also being proposed to be a Director.

The online platform for cricket coaching will help the students to connect with the coaches and also help in booking of coaches, ground/nets along with management of the academies.
