Rajasthan Royals Players Depart For UAE to Play IPL in PPE Kits

Rajasthan Royals players have left for UAE to take part in the upcoming edition of IPL 2020 which is all set to start from September 19th to 10th November 2020.

All the players followed all the safety and health guidelines and reached at the airport wearing PPE kits for UAE.

For the initiated, the upcoming edition of IPL 2020 has been moved to UAE due to rise in COVID-19 cases in India.

They will have to play first few matches without their star overseas players like Steve Smith, Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer as England and Australia will face each other in a bilateral series that will start from September 4th 2020.

Rajasthan needs to buckle up their performance in the upcoming mega event as in the last edition they finished at the 7th spot. There has been a consistent debacle in Royals performance barring the first edition where they were crowned as the champions under the leadership of spin wizard Shane Warne.

On Wednesday, official confirmation came from BCCI that Dream 11 will be the title sponsor of cash-rich league this year. As they won the bidding by surpassing other companies Unacademy, Tata by a whopping amount of Rs 222 crore.

If reports are to believed, BCCI also wants to retain the fantasy league platform for the upcoming two years as title sponsor in case VIVO backs out next year.
