Lionel Messi reaches a new feat of scoring goal against 100th different opponent

Lionel Messi has been one of the greatest Footballers of all time, and now he has added one more feat to his career. The game that was played against Atlanta United, in which Messi went on to score 2 goals. Atlanta United has become Messi’s 100th team to score against. There is no doubt this has given more popularity to Atlanta United too. 

With the help of Messi, Inter Miami was able to get their second consecutive victory. This has also made Atlanta United top in group J.

A brief of Lionel Messi’s career

• Messi started showcasing his talent in La Liga league, against Albacete. He got a chance to play in the 87th minute of the match. Even in those few minutes, he managed to get his first senior goal. 
• In the first match he played for the Barcelona senior side, Messi came on as a substitute in the 75th minute of the match. The match was against FC Porto. In a very short time, he got the title of the Talismanic striker.
• Messi won four UEFA League titles with Barcelona. That was in the year 2005-06, 2008-09, 2010-11, and even 2014-15. 
• He won several honors with Barcelona. He went on to win three FIFA Club World Cups with Barcelona. That was in the years 2009, 2011, and even 2015. 
• His achievements are certainly many. He even went on to win seven Spanish Super Cup titles. He got those feats in the years 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016, and even 2018. 
• After such a glorious stint with Barcelona, he joined Paris Saint – Germain, in the year 2021.
