NBA: Sacramento Kings to reopen their facility from the next week

One of the most consistent teams of the National Basketball Association (NBA), Sacramento Kings is planning to reopen its facility for the players from Monday onwards.

It will be the first time since March that Sacramento Kings’ players will be allowed to train under team facilities.

However, players and personal will reportedly “be able to participate in the individual workouts that will be highly regulated and highly sanitized,” Amick said per khtk.com.

However several teams decided not to risk opening their facilities as adequate medical facilities should be provided failing which can lead to the transmission of the virus among players.

To this day, Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets will also re-open their facilities on 8th May while Cleavland Cavaliers will also return to practice on Friday.

For other teams, a series of regulations and restrictions will be in place to assure safety for and security for all players.

Not more than 4 players will be allowed to train together, adequate social distancing needs to be followed, the disinfectant procedure should be taken into consideration. Players entering the gym in the training facilities should take proper measures and temperature checks are needed.

NBA has asked all the teams who will be conducting their training season to test all the players who are not showing any symptoms (asymptomatic one) as they go for the group workouts everything, should be clarified so that they should not spread the virus if they have any symptoms of COVID 19.
