Ben Stokes IPL 2019

Rajasthan Royals and England all-rounder Ben Stokes will remain out from action for at least 12 weeks due to a fractured finger which he suffered in the inaugural match for Royals in IPL 2021.

As per the latest update from England and Wales Cricket Board(ECB) that the ace allrounder will miss the home series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka after his scans report showed a fracture in his left index finger.

He will leave for England on April 17th, 2021 for further treatment.  His absence will majorly affect Royals franchise for the ongoing IPL.

Also his national team England will also miss the service of their swashbuckling all-rounder as the teams like New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and India in the same order for the upcoming months, and based on his injury he is likely to miss the first two assignments for England.

However, RR will bank more on Chris Morris who played a crucial role in finishing the game for Royals in the recently concluded game against Delhi Capitals after he scored unbeaten 36 runs in the pressure situations.

Senior overseas players like Butler and Miller are expected to become more accountable for Rajasthan Royal’s upcoming matches in IPL 2021.
