The Indian players will be traveling to Dublin for three T20I matches starting on August 18, 2023. The second match will be played on August 20, 2023, and the last match of the series will be played on August 23, 2023. All the matches will begin at 7:30 p.m. IST.

After a 3-2 loss against the West Indies in five T20I matches, this series will be very important for the Indian team. Although most of the senior and main players of the team have been rested, almost a second-string team will be traveling for this series.

It gives the youngsters a huge opportunity to showcase their talent and perform at an international level for the team. Players who have performed exceptionally well in the Indian Premier League have been given a chance in this series.

This series is really important for India’s ace pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, who is back after recovering from his injury. He will be leading the team on this tour, and everyone is hoping that Bumrah has recovered well and will be back to breaking stumps just like the old times.

The Indian squad for this tour is as below:

Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar, Shivam Dube, Shahbaz Ahmed, Sanju Samson (wk), Jitesh Sharma, Ravi Bishnoi, Jasprit Bumrah (c), Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, and Avesh Khan

It is quite evident that Ruturaj and Jaiswal will be opening the inning for the team in this series. Tilak Varma, who batted really well in the series against the West Indies, will bat at 3. Shivam Dube might be given a chance to bat at number 4 along with Sanju Samson at number 5.

Rinku Singh will probably get his debut cap and play the finisher role at number 6. Washington Sundar and Ravi Bishnoi will be the two spinners, whereas Bumrah, Arshdeep, and Mukesh Kumar are expected to be the three fast bowlers.
