Key moments of Day 3:

On Day 3 there were lots of key moments. Some of them are mentioned below. However, West Indies is still far away from the victory. It is still not clear if they are going to win or not.

Kraigg Brathwaite playing a crucial knock

Brathwaite ensured to play a captain’s knock. It is important for the captain to perform. Only then will the team be able to feel confident and give a good performance. That is certainly the way to move forward. It was clear that his knock came under pressure.

The partnership between McKenzie and Chandepaul

The batting lineup played like a team. That is because every batsman is ensured to make some sort of contribution. Once the opening partnership was broken at the score of 71, Mckenzie and Chanderpaul made it certain that they’ll stay there at the crease. They both took the score to 117 runs. Their partnership was 46 runs.

Slow strike rate of the batters

The batters are not having a good strike rate. That is because it doesn’t look like the West Indies will be able to win the match. However, one thing is sure they’ll still try to draw the match. For that, they need to play as many deliveries as possible.

The end result of the match can be easily predicted. India is certainly going to win the 2nd Test too. However, the West Indies have all the plans to surprise the tourists.
