India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI: Men in Blue aiming for top spot in ICC ODI rankings

Men in Blue have been in excellent form in the current ODI series against New Zealand, winning the first three games by a combined score of 2-0, and they will want to win the last game at Holkar Stadium Indore in order to win the series.

According to the third ODI’s happenings so far, the Black Caps won the toss and chose to bat first. Gill and Sharma are opening in the middle.

India has so far scored 31 runs while taking 0 wickets, with Sharma leading the way with 17 runs and Gill providing 12 runs of support.

If the Men in Blue are successful in winning today’s game, they will move up to first place in the points table, ahead of England, India, and New Zealand, which are currently ranked first, second, and third, respectively.

Since they got off to a strong start at the top of the order thanks to strong batting performances from Rohit Sharma and Shubhman Gill, the Indian ODI team has been superb throughout the series.

Although Virat Kohli has been relatively quiet during this series, he has undoubtedly regained his lost mojo and is keen to end the series with another century.

Mohammad Shiraj has excelled throughout the competition and will be attempting to build off of his recent strong play with the ball.
