World’s richest franchise cricket tournament, IPL’s season 16 is all set to get underway from March 31st onwards with 4-time champions Chennai Super Kings going up against defending champions Gujarat Titans in the opening fixture of the brand new season.
Some franchises will be searching their maiden IPL title while some franchises will hope that they can win another edition this year.

The tournament is known for handing opportunities to young talented players filled with immense potential. Players like Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah among others have all come through this domestic league.
Last year we saw Gujarat Titans win the Indian Premier League in their very first season under All-rounder Hardik Pandya’s captaincy. The Gujarat born All-rounder has also become India’s captain in the T20I format and also received the taste of leading in ODIs.

He has drawn a lot of comparison with none other than MS Dhoni in terms of having a similar temperament on the field as the Captain. GT Spinner R Sai Kishore has said that Pandya is pretty similar to Dhoni in terms of their leadership skills.
“Hardik and Mahi Bhai are pretty similar in the way they handle things, they both are pretty calm.” Sai Kishore also added that Hardik Pandya handles wins and defeats in the best way possible.
Kishore also shared his thoughts about the latest Impact player rule which will come into effect in IPL for the first time since March 31, 2023. “It is more like the super-sub rule where we can either use a bowler or a batsman. It is basically playing with 12 people.
The 26-year-old also spoke about his own performance and his passage to the Indian team in the near future. “Yes there are a lot of left-arm spinners in India and this IPL is a very good opportunity but i would like to be here now in the present and play well for Gujarat.
