5. Don’t understand when they say Bazball
Shaw is known for his attacking style of play and is set to play county cricket in England. When asked about his views on the Bazball approach that England has adopted, Shaw was baffled by the name and gave an example of Mitchell Marsh‘s hundred at Headingley, whom he termed as the ‘proper Bazball cricketer’. According to Shaw, he does not understand the term ‘Bazball.’ He believes that no matter what others call it, his approach is to hit the ball when he sees it. For him, cricket is our sport.
4. I don’t like to make friends
When asked about his friendship with other cricketers, Shaw said that he does not like to make friends and prefers to keep to himself. Prithvi Shaw said that he doesn’t like to make friends. He said, “I am happy with my own company. I think that’s the best way to stay focused on your game.”
3. I have learnt from my mistakes
Shaw has had his fair share of ups and downs in his career, both on and off the field. When asked about how he deals with criticism, Shaw said that he has learned from his mistakes and tries to keep a positive attitude. Shaw said that he had not learnt from my mistakes. He said, “I know what I need to work on, and I try to stay positive. I think that’s the best way to deal with criticism.”

2. Prithvi Shaw believes that the concept of Best Friends is a human creation
Shaw expressed his scepticism towards the concept of ‘best friends’ and how he has learned not to share every detail of his life with his loved ones. He has had experiences where people spoke nicely to him, but then said the same things behind his back. He has understood that the world works differently and that the idea of a ‘best friend’ is a human creation.
1. You can’t be good to everyone
Shaw’s father had warned him not to open up to people too easily, and Shaw has learned this lesson the hard way. He has had some tough experiences that have made him realise that he cannot be good to everyone. His father’s advice was that he was naive and ended up saying things he wasn’t supposed to say. Shaw has now experienced this and understands it.
Shaw has had his ups and downs in his career, but he is hoping to revive his career with some good performances for Northamptonshire in county cricket.
