- After the first over Pakistan had shown that they were there with a commitment.
- The score was 30 after 3 overs, at a run rate of 10 per over.
- The Pakistani openers showed maturity. They knew they needed to slow down in order to survive for long.
- By the end of the 8th over the score was 49-0. That run rate dropped from 10 to 6 per over.
- The opening partnership survived till 121 runs in 17.1 overs. On the 2nd ball of the 17th over, Saim Ayub was caught.
Later on, the Pakistan A team went on to score well. The target that will be set for India A is certainly going to be a big one. It is going to be interesting to see the approach of the Indian team to win the match.
