Amid this news, former Pakistani pacer, Shoaib Akhtar was heard to feel differently in this matter as he wants India to play the Asia cup no matter the venue. He said that if India is not willing to come to Pakistan for the Asia cup, the venue should be shifted to a neutral venue. Most probably Sri Lanka. He said that he wants to see India and Pakistan play in the final of the Asia cup. However, he also wants the Asia cup to take place in Pakistan but if India does not want to come, then the venue should be shifted to a neutral venue.
