Big Breaking: Captain Rohit Sharma to take retirement if India loses Champions Trophy Final

Indian Cricket Team under the leadership of Rohit Sharma is playing brilliant cricket from last 3-4 years which include- reaching in the finals of 2nd edition of World Test Championship Finals in 2023 against Australia, playing 2022 T20 World Cup semifinal, Runner Up at 2023 ODI World Cup, Winning 2024 T20 World Cup and the latest to join the bandwagon is playing Champions Trophy 2025 as finalist.

The Question arises whether India can win yet another ICC Trophy under his leadership.

Based on the latest development, BCCI is looking for leadership Transition post 2025 Champions Trophy 2025, some one like Shreyas and Hardik might become new leader in ODI and Test Format.

The other news circulating is in reference to Skipper Rohit Sharma, where he might retire from Cricket if India didn’t win Champions Trophy 2025 final.

If India wins Champions Trophy 2025 under his leadership he might continue as player.

The next big thing for India post 2025 Champions Trophy 2025, is playing Test series in England, followed by T20 World Cup hosted in India and Sri Lanka and subsequently playing 2027 ODI World Cup to be played in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Rohit is already retired from T20I and he only plays Test and ODI Cricket for now.

The news is also spreading around Virat Kohli that star batter might call of his ODI career post Champions Trophy 2025 and let the young guns, spread the magic in the Upcoming 50 Over World Cup to be held in 2027.

Kohli would certainly continue as player in the longest format of the game as considering his talent and stage he can etch more centuries in Test Cricket.

So far Kohli has only scored 30 Centuries he might be looking to hit more century under his belt.

Coming back to Rohit Sharma he has been true hero for Indian Cricket Team, as he scored more than 11,000 runs in ODI Cricket.

As leader he has successfully guided Mumbai Indians towards winning 5 IPL title.

As Indian Skipper, he won title as Leader in 2024 T20 World Cup which is no mean feat for sure.

Rohit Sharma have been brilliant leader for India and irrespective of result in the final that will be held tomorrow, he will be remembered not just as class player but as leader who gave it all when it comes to leading group of Men who can subsequently went on to win ICC Trophy.

Toss would certainly play an important role in the night of the Final, and the team who will win the toss would elect to bat first and impose an high scoring total considering the magnitude of the final.
