Champions Trophy 2025 Final: New Zealand skip practice session while India hit nets ahead of Big Match

The Champions Trophy 2025, to be played in the final which will be played between India and New Zealand at Dubai International Stadium on 9th March 2025.

Both teams have covered all the bases in their arsenal, it would be interesting to see who will adapt conditions better among these two on the match day.

India have played all their matches at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai whereas New Zealand will play their matches at distinct Pakistan location which include-Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi.

New Zealand management opted to rest against India, considering hectic travelling schedule they need to juggle during Champions Trophy 2025.

Based on the latest development, New Zealand opted to rest in their last practice session whereas Men in Blue did last practice session ahead of Big Final.

Talking about India’s Preparation, Batting Coach Sitanshu Kotak stated we just wanted to get used to all surface which is way different then others.

He added that we have a strong batting core group who can adjust in all conditions.

My Perspective: 

If you look at India’s Squad, in the Ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 so far, India have 3 premier all rounders in their squad.

If you look at Fast bowling it didn’t look strong factor for Men in Blue.

When it comes to Batting, Men in Blue have all the bases covered and fiery match winners who can torment any bowling lineup on any given day.

If you closely observe, New Zealand do possess a strong squad, where they have multiple all rounders, spinners, bowlers and most importantly batters for Dubai Conditions.

New Zealand can certainly pose threat for India, considering they have already played one match here in Dubai where they lost against Men in Blue by 40 runs.

Overall Indian Cricket Team understand these conditions much better than New Zealand does have a slight edge over other teams.

The final would be interesting and exciting at the same time as two best teams will gear up with each other for one last ride to win marquee event.
