Widely regarded as the run-machine, Virat Kohli is arguably the best limited-overs batsman of this generation. Ever since he has made his debut in international cricket, the Indian cricketer’s graph has only scaled upwards.

His grit, his hard work, and dedication to his sport are unparalleled. Inevitably, the number one batsman of this current generation, Virat Kohli has become an inspiration to many as far as his batting numbers are concerned. virat-kohli-bowled-bowled-out-2020

Holding as many as 43 centuries under his belt in 243 ODIs, Virat Kohli has always been a difficult proposition to get out. The Indian skipper has amassed more than 11,000 runs in 243 ODIs at an average of 59.6.

In a career of close to 12 years, not many bowlers have dominated the Indian batsman. Virat has got the art to tackle every one of them, be it fast bowlers or spinners. Yet there have been few bowlers who have troubled the RCB skipper on quite of few occasions.

West Indies fast bowler Ravi Rampaul is the most successful bowler, picking Kohli as many as 6 times in limited-overs cricket.

However, in recent times, the one who is claiming to have an upper hand against Indian batsman and is line to break Rampaul’s record is Adam Zampa, who has now dismissed Virat Kohli 5 times in one-day cricket.

Coming in at number four position in the first ODI against Australia, Virat Kohli couldn’t score a big inning, and also missed out on a hundred in the second ODI with Zampa getting him out on both the occasions.

Zampa has now dismissed Kohli 5 times in ODIs, only one wicket shy of becoming the most successful against the Indian cricketer.

India is currently playing against Australia in a three-match ODI series. Having lost the first ODI, India posted a huge 340 run total in the first innings. It will be interesting to see if the bowlers help them level the series, or will Australia seal the series at Rajkot.
