Talking of his best knock, way back in 1998, Sachin Tendulkar stormed Australia by scoring 143 in the Final amid a Dessert storm at the Sharjah Cricket ground.
Meanwhile, other than this, Sydney Cricket Ground also renamed one of their gates in the honor of Sachin Tendulkar and West Indies legend Brian Lara. All of the players who will now play at the SCG will walk by the Brian Lara-Sachin Tendulkar gate.
Sachin also has the most runs in both forms, scoring 15,921 runs in Tests with an average of 53.78 with 51 hundreds and 68 fifties, and 18,426 runs in ODIs at an average of 44.83 with 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries.
