Telugu Yoddhas face Odisha Juggernauts in Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2; Rajasthan Warriors look for first win against Mumbai Khiladis

The table-toppers Telugu Yoddhas will go up against defending champions Odisha Juggernauts while Rajasthan Warriors will look to register their first win in the ongoing Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 as they face Mumbai Khiladis at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday.

Promoted by Amit Burman in collaboration with the Kho Kho Federation of India, Ultimate Kho Kho became a huge hit in the first season, emerging as India’s third-largest non-cricket league in terms of television viewership. It also became the first Indian sports league to secure Series A funding, courtesy of the UK-based BNP Group.

Rajasthan Warriors faced a defeat against Gujarat Giants in their last match and will look to produce a better performance in the upcoming match.

“We will try to apply our strategy perfectly in the next match against Mumbai. The morale of our players is somewhat low but we will try to regroup and give our best to get a victory in the forthcoming contest,” commented captain Majahar Jamadar.

On the other hand, Telugu Yoddhas are on song in the league at the moment, sitting on top of the points table with 18 points from 8 games and captain Pratik Waikar stated that they will only focus on continuing their winning momentum in the next match as well.

He said, “Everyone is happy in the team with their performance but the tournament isn’t over yet and we have a lot of work to do. We will try to reduce our mistakes and win the next match against Odisha as well. Every player is focused on getting better and giving their best for the team.”
