India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and fast bowler Umesh Yadav were involved in a hilarious exchange of comments on Instagram after the pacer bragged about his weightlifting abilities. Jadeja is currently a part of India’s T20I team against Sri Lanka. After the first game was abandoned in Guwahati without a ball being bowled, India beat the visitors in the second match to take an unassailable lead in the series.
Ravindra Jadeja was not included in the playing XI in the second game and will be hoping to play the third and final T20I which will be played in Pune on January 10. Umesh Yadav, who is not a part of the T20I side, is currently preparing himself for the upcoming Test series against New Zealand.

Coming to the banter, it all started when Umesh Yadav posting a video of his weight training on social media platform Instagram. Posting a couple of emojis, Umesh Yadav captioned the video: “do you lift bro”.
Ravindra Jadeja decided to troll Umesh Yadav by writing: “Ladkiya itna weight uthati hai? (Do girls lift this amount of weight).”
Well, Umesh Yadav hit back by saying: “Yeh toh sirf teaser tha, Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost ? (This is just the trailer, the movie is not over yet)”
Yadav last played for India during the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. He was India’s go-to pacer when Jasprit Bumrah was out due to injury. The right-arm pacer picked up 11 wickets against South Africa and 12 against Bangladesh.
The 32-year-old has played 45 Tests, 75 ODIs and seven T20Is for India since making his debut in 2010. Ravindra Jadeja, on the other hand, has represented India in 48 Tests, 159 ODIs and 46 T20Is. Jadeja played all the limited-overs games against the West Indies at home last month. He is also expected to play in the World T20 later this year.
