Lakers trading JaVale McGee to Cleveland, signing Marc Gasol in NBA Free Agency

The Lakers reportedly wanted to sign Marc Gasol by trading big man JaVale McGee and a second-round draft pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Jordan Bell and Alfonzo McKinnie. 

Marc Gasol spent the past one and a half seasons with the Toronto Raptors and was a key figure for winning NBA Champions 2019-2020 title. Former Raptors was a first-team All-NBA selection for the 2014-15 season. Gasol also was the NBA Defensive Player of the Year for 2012-13.

NBA veteran Marc Gasol has career averages of 14.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 839 career games.

Also in other news, Los Angeles Lakers have traded big man JaVale McGee to the Cleveland Cavaliers for future second-round pick.
