IND vs NZ 2nd T20 : Who will win?

Team India was thrashed by the visitors in the first T20I match after the Kiwis were easily defeated by them in the ODI series (3-0). The top order was bowled out for single-digit runs, while Suryakumar Yadav needed 34 balls to score his 47 runs. Washington Sundar led the way with 50 runs off of just 28 balls, while none of the other batters were able to reach the 30-run threshold.

Arshdeep Singh was quite expensive, due to his 4 overs of 51 runs for 1 wicket, . Whereas, Sundar took 2 wickets for just 22 runs, demonstrating his effectiveness with the ball as well. Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Umran Malik failed to record any wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Mavi each managed one.

First Devon Conway, then Daryl Mitchell, both of whom etched a half-century, were the bat stars for New Zealand. Daryl Mitchell, batting at position five, hit an undefeated 59 runs off 30 balls while Conway scored 52 runs off 35 balls. Finn Allen, the opener, too made a contribution with 35 runs off 23 balls.

Mitchell Santner, the captain of New Zealand, took two significant wickets at critical points in the game, helping his team to victory through spin. While Jacob Duffy and Ish Sodhi each took one wicket, Michael Bracewell, Lockie Ferguson, and both managed two wickets each.

Now, in the 2nd t20 it will be interesting to see whether team India make any changes in their playing XI and strategies after over viewing their weaknesses in the first t20. Men in Blue might be doing changes in bowling line up and strategies as the bowlers conceded a lot of runs in last overs.

Team India will start as the favourite to defeat New Zealand in the second T20I despite being thoroughly defeated in the first T20I. The second t20 will be played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

Although, India have more chances to win as the team is full of inform players and will come on field with more wariness. India will also be leading the advantage of playing at home. On the other hand Black Caps will be looking to seal the series by winning this match.
