“I had made up my mind to quit!” Virat Kohlion his latest interview with Robin Uthappa!

Virat Kohli has improved his reputation as one of the greatest players in sports history during the past year by making a dramatic return following a protracted slump in performance. Not only is Kohli back to scoring runs, but he has also regained his best form.

After a disastrous all-format tour of England in 2017, which saw several veteran cricketers, notably Kapil Dev, advocate for Kohli to be fired from the Indian side, Kohli’s career reached an all-time low. The former Indian captain, though, returned to the sport spectacularly after a protracted absence.

After last year’s Asia Cup, Kohli disclosed how he recovered and said he was prepared to accept the fact that he might be nearing the end of his career. While many people believed there was a mechanical flaw in his game, according to Kohli, he made no modifications.

However, since the 2022 Asia Cup, Kohli has amassed five international hundreds, including three ODIs and one each in T20I and Test cricket. In his three years of playing international cricket, Kohli failed to score a thousand points. The World Test Championship (WTC) final and World Cup this year will feature the Indian batting superstar, who has 75 international hundreds to his credit.

“The most important factor in that whole transnational period before the Asia Cup last year was the fact that I was willing to let go of everything. I was willing to accept that when I go back and play, it might be the last month of me playing competitive cricket and I am absolutely okay with it,” said Kohli in an interview with Robin Uthappa on Jio Cinema.
