After being given out in the match, Harmanpreet Kaur displayed her fury by breaking the stumps with her bat. She also raised questions about the umpiring and criticized Bangladesh cricket. Due to her obstinate and insolent actions, Harmanpreet Kaur has had to bear heavy losses.

Harmanpreet Kaur Found Guilty of Code of Conduct Violations; Faces Possible Ban from Asian Games 2023

According to reports from ESPN, Harmanpreet Kaur has been found guilty of two separate violations of the code of conduct. Consequently, she has been fined 75 percent of her match fee and may receive three demerit points for her behavior. This could result in a potential ban from participating in two matches. If the ban is imposed, Harmanpreet Kaur cannot take part in the Asian Games 2023, and Smriti Mandhana will step in as the captain in her place.

The women’s cricket event during the Asiad (Asian Games 2023) will occur from 19th September to 28th September. Additionally, India will enter the quarter-final matches directly due to their higher ranking.

However, if Harmanpreet Kaur faces a ban, she will miss the quarter-final match. Furthermore, even if the team reaches the semi-finals, she won’t be able to participate. In her absence, Smriti Mandhana may take charge of the team. Nevertheless, Harmanpreet Kaur is expected to play in the final match representing India.
