What Will the Upcoming Fortnite Theme Be?
The next theme for the upcoming Fortnite season appears to be centered around heists. Epic Games has shared a few teaser images that give us hints about what’s coming next. It seems like the season will focus on heists, which are exciting thefts or robberies.
The teasers started with an image showing the season’s launch date, which is August 25th. On this day, we’ll receive lots of new stuff, including a new Fortnite starter pack. However, what caught people’s attention was the background of this date image – it had lasers in it. This made players think that the upcoming season might involve heists similar to those seen in Mission Impossible movies!
A more recent teaser has definitely confirmed this heist theme for the new Fortnite season. The second image showed a reddish blueprint of a vault, which is a super secure place where valuable things are kept. It seemed like players could break into this vault, and it had defenses, rewards, and hidden surprises. This might even become a full point of interest (POI) in Chapter 4 Season 4!
Although there are already some vaults in the game’s map, these new ones seem to be on a whole different level. It looks like we’ll be getting new locations and content that revolve around breaking into well-guarded places. Also, it seems that the Drum Gun, a particular type of weapon, will be making a return.
Season 3 of Chapter 4 is Geared Towards Heists
Many players are seeing similarities between the current new theme in Fortnite and Chapter 2 Season 2. That season was one of the longest ones in Fortnite’s history. Although it lasted a while, it was also quite enjoyable for the players. It seems like the current season might bring back similar features. This could include things like the Mythic Drum Gun coming back, and different areas on the map having special vaults with unique items inside. This was a different way of adding special items to the game compared to how Epic does it now, which added more variety to the gameplay.
