Bairstow remain unbeaten at 99 which was a big blow for him as a batter.
2. Ben Duckett 98
Another English batter who showed the class of his exceptional batting syle in the Ashes 2023 has been a victim of nervous 90. Duckett missed his century by a whisker of 2 runs as the batter lost the control against Hazelwood quick delivery which got him caught by Warner. Duckett was dismissed at 98 in the first inning of the second Test at Lord’s.
3. Joe Root 91
The former England captain Joe Root is the third batter in a row who was also hurt by the blow of nervous 90. The ace batter was also in sight of a century when he was dismissed for 91 in the second inning of the fifth Test at The Oval.
