ENG VS AUS Dream11 Prediction: Live Score & Today Match Prediction for ENG vs AUS, 1st ODI

England vs Australia

After the completion of the T20 series, the action now shifts to the three-match ODI series between Australia and England. The first match is scheduled to play on 11th September 2020. The match will start at 5:30 PM IST.

England Team Preview:

Eoin Morgan would be coming into the series full of confidence. They have had great success in all the series they played since Covid–19 Pandemic. Furthermore, it will be the first time since the pandemic when they will be going with a full-strength team. The team boasts of almost all their 2019 World Cup-winning team.

Players with the likes of Jason Roy, Joe Root, Chris Woakes to name a few will be seen in coloured clothing after a while. Given it’s a three-match series, Morgan and Co. is expected to come hard from the start at the Aussies, who already have a lot to ponder about.

ENG VS AUS: KEY PLAYERS:

  1. Jos Buttler:

The England cricketer is currently in the form of his life. Buttler is scoring runs for fun at the moment. In the first two T20s against Australia, Buttler made a mockery of Australia’s bowling attack. He scored 44 (29) and 77 (54) in the first and second T20 internationals respectively.

  1. Jonny Bairstow

Jonny Bairstow played all three T20 internationals against Australia. He fared well in the third T20 with a blistering 44-ball 55. Having already faced the Aussies enough in the series, he is expected to come good in the series opener.

  1. Adil Rashid

Skipper, Eoin Morgan has said that the pitch would be on the slower side and would help the spinners. In that case, Adil Rashid should be your biggest bet.

Australia Team Preview:

Australia, right now, have a lot of problems to deal with. Their middle-order woes continues to haunt them. Alex Carey has been going through a miserable run. Glen Maxwell hasn’t had a great start to his comeback in the international cricket. Mitchell Marsh played a great knock in the third T20 but can he replicate that in the ODI series as well? You just have to wait and see.

Nevertheless, the onus would be once again on the likes of David Warner, Aaron Finch and Steve Smith. They, however, have developed strong batsmen at number 4 in Marnus Labuschagne.

Key Players:

  1. David Warner

David Warner continues to be their most important batsman in the side. He would be hoping to play a match-winning knock in the first ODI and help his side lead the series 1-0.

  1. Aaron Finch

One could feel that a big knock from Aaron Finch is on the cards. Australia would hope it comes in the first ODI itself. Nevertheless, Finch should a must-have in your eleven.

  1. Steven Smith

You cannot miss out Smith, especially in the 50-overs cricket. He holds great value for the side in the limited over’s side. Smith has to turn out with good performances if Australia fancy their chances in the series.
