The 15th Men’s Hockey World Cup is currently in progress, and on January 15, 2022, at 7 p.m., in Rourkela’s Birsa Munda Stadium, India will face off against England.
Both sides were viewed as equal competitors prior to the game based on their prior performances, but given how the game turned out, India defeated Spain 2-0.
Amit Rohidas and Hardik Singh each scored two goals, and Harmanpreet Singh provided one assist.

According to our coach, Graham Reid, our defence played well, and the opening 20 minutes of the game were favorable to us. This is why we were able to win.
We performed equally effectively on offence and defence, which led to our triumph over Spain.
Congrats #TeamIndia for the resounding 2-0 win against Spain! Great win ๐๐

Coach Graham Reid has instilled confidence and unwavering mental toughness, which is evident as the Men in Blue responded admirably in the recently concluded World Cup 2023 match. The old national team might have faltered in the event of missing penalties, but the same scenario occurred there as well.
