The game of cricket has shown us everything Legends, Goat and some of the magnificent players in history. Over the course of years, bowlers have grown same as a batsman. In a squad, the importance of bowlers is like a backbone. They create difficult situation for other teams to get more in the game.

Not just in men’s cricket, nowadays women’s cricket has developed it’s own fandom. The local T20 leagues had made the women’s cricket more exciting. This year some of the best overseas players are participating in WPL. Today we will be looking at top 5 overseas bowlers.

*Issy Wong– She debuted for England’s team in  the cricket tournament of Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. Wong made her T20I debut on 21 July 2022, also during England’s home series against South Africa. In November 2022 wong was goven the first national contract.

In the first match of WPL, Wong bowled three overs and only conceded 7 runs. Not only this she took 1 important wicket for the team.

*Nat-Sciver Brunt– Sciver made her debut for the England women’s cricket team in 2013 and has since become an integral part of the side. She has played in all three formats of the game and has scored over 2000 runs in ODIs, with a highest score of 139*. She has also taken over 100 wickets in all formats combined

In her first encounter against Gujarat she performed exceptionally well by taking 2 quick wickets and bowling with an economy of 2.5 per over. These performance have made it clear that sciver is going to have a good tournament.

*Tara Norris–  Tara norris ia an American cricketer who represents Sussex in county cricket and now she is representing Delhi Capitals in WPL.She bowls left are medium and left hand batsmen.

She shined in her first match in WPL. She became the first to take a  five-wicket haul in WPL and marked her name in history books.

Tara conceded only 29 runs in her whole spell, this figure shows how exceptionally talented she is and the talents make Indian leagues intresting.

*Alice Capsey-She made her debut for the England women’s cricket team in June 2021, in a T20 match against India. Prior to her international debut, Capsey had already made a name for herself in domestic cricket in England.

She plays for Kent Women in the Women’s County Championship and the Women’s Twenty20 Cup. In 2020, Capsey scored a century in a T20 match against Sussex Women, becoming the youngest player to score a hundred in the Women’s Twenty20 Cup.

Alice clinched two wickets in her first game of WPL, where Delhi Capitals got a huge win by a margin of 60 runs. She was also very economical in her spell again RCB.

*Kim Garth– Garth made her debut for the Ireland women’s cricket team in 2010 at the age of 13, becoming the youngest ever cricketer to represent Ireland at the international level.

In addition to playing for Ireland, Garth has also played domestic cricket in England, representing the Yorkshire Diamonds in the Women’s Cricket Super League. She has also played in the Women’s Big Bash League in Australia, representing Sydney Sixers. Garth has been one of the most consistent performers for Ireland in recent years.

In WPL, Kim is playing for Gujarat giants in the inaugural season of WPL. Kim took a five-wicket haul to announce her entry in WPL. This years WPL is made fantastic because so much talent coming from non-cricketing association and shining at international level.
